As a team member, the candidate will work on Linux networking/ethernet SW development and HW offloading driver development for pre-silicon and post-silicon . He/She will take the following responsibilities:
• Layer2 or Layer3 networking feature development for pre-silicon and post-silicon of new chips
• Analyze requirements and translate them to SW requirement document.
• Follow SW development process to write SW design document, develop networking/switch drivers, do the unit test/integrated test and maintain the drivers.
• Deliver assigned tasks on schedule with high quality.
• Troubleshoot or on-site support the issues reported from customer.
• Provide technical support and training to the field engineers and customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years experiences with Programming Language such as C, C++, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Deep understanding of Ethernet and switching/routing, especial for traffic management, Qos, L2 switch etc
• Experience with Ethernet driver development on embedded platforms
• Knowledge of multi-threading and synchronization in a driver environment
• Strong understanding of OS kernel internals especially Linux/Unix
• Good understanding of Linux Device Driver and Linux network stack.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts |
